Departing from the village, you will trace back part of the route of the previous leg, up to the Deer Wildlife Area. Walking through the 664a path – first on an ancient restored sheep track and then on a dirt road –  you will arrive in Località San Bartolomeo. After crossing the main road that goes up to the village of Camerata Nuova  (viewable downwards), at the first important watershed of Fosso Luisa (there is a small bridge) you will start to climb actively on the marked path 664c, conquering numerous plateaus that are a preview of the wide and magnificent Piano di Camposecco (photo) that faces one side of the homonymous refuge.

Crossing the short side and following the 673c, you will enter a wooded valley that leads to I Grottoni, to the area of Tre Confini (three borders), and then you will coast along the Volubro lake, at the intersection of Valle Maiura.

Continuing on the white road to the right and after having crossed the beautiful pasture of Campobuffone, you will reach with a small climb the beautiful viewpoint of Passo delle Pecore.

A longer descent – first on a path and again on a dirt road – leads us to the hamlet of Livata.
